...a community of fully devoted followers of Christ learning to freely receive from him and freely give away to others.
We are passionate about knowing Jesus intimately, becoming like him completely, and partnering with him by the power of his Spirit in his mission to bring transformation to people’s lives, families, cities, and nations. We are endeavoring to live out our faith together in such a way that our world is changed…as the church did in the book of Acts (i.e. Acts 19).
We simply believe that following Jesus is the best (and only) way to really live. We are convinced that his invitation when recieved contains the power to transform lives and even whole nations (Romans 1:16-17). And we have learned we can not do it alone; that it is impossible to be a Christ follower without being the church (living in community with other believers).
And so we embrace a lifestyle of being with Jesus daily, being in community regularly and being a blessing to a few people every week. This is how we live out what it means to be a disciple; one becoming JUST LIKE the master, Jesus Christ.
No matter where you are on your spiritual journey we invite you to journey with us. Whether you are just beginning to ask questions about faith in Christ or are a mature follower there is a place for you at NewCommunity.
We are commited to empowering you to be a fully devoted follower of Christ, connecting you with other believers on your journey, and releasing and supporting you to fulfill your calling. Our vision is ultimately to multiply disciples and churches, filling our community with groups and churches who are blessing, light in darkness. This is our church's assignment from the Lord. We will see this vision become reality as we bless, disciple and empower one disciple at a time.
Our Sunday gathering is a great place to start, but it is only the beginning; a great place to meet Jesus and get connected with our community and mission. We also gather in Life Groups that meet throughout the week; we consider ourselves a church of churches. There are many opportunities to freely receive from the Lord and freely give away what he has given us.
